Hi Nathan

Did the fronts happen to come out of a track day converted GP via a friendly garage down south

No Not mine, they came out of someone elses GP that was stripped out for track day use so that the driver could learn the circuits (Porsche Cup Driver).

They were for sale on E-bay for a short time untill the seller realised he had them on too cheap (floods of offers and calls), he then asked T F to sell them and they went for £1000 if I am correct

I believe that quote for the rears is a little wrong (I however could be wrong ), as I priced a base (just the base) for my rear seats "smooth black panther" for an S and that alone was about that price+ without the uprights (backs) and without VAT etc... etc... so I would have thought that the Recaro ones would be dearer .

Mine's the one on the left.

Your cheapest option would be to get a local trimmer to trim your old seat, you may even get away with standard leather headrests

actually i agrea, there, think my mate paid about 350 to have his rear seats in his escort cossie to have the rears retrimmed in leather. So budget about 400. Only problem is getting the leather match as the recaros do have a softer leather than the OEm ones

How easy are these Recaros to fit in place of std front seats - is it just four bolts and the plugs for the airbags and seat heating? Ta, Andy
