iPod

Hi there,

I am new to this forum, and to our Mini.

I have a question and I wasn't sure where to post it.

We recently purchased a 2006 Mini convertible that has the iPod package. The iPod works great in the car and charges, but I cannot get it to sync with my Mac or PC. Both have the minimum system requirements to pick up the 3G iPod but it is not being seen by either. I am trying to sync it so that I can throw some new music on there.

Thanks in advance for any help!

~emi

Smile Welcome to MINI2 ...

I moved your thread to the 1st Gen ICE (In Car Entertainment) forum, where someone can hopefully answer your question.

Are you using USB or Firewire to connect the Gen 3 iPod to your PC/Mac? The Gen 3 should sync using USB but requires FireWire to charge while connected.
