Hi all,

We currently have a 2 spoke steering wheel on our 02 reg mini cooper but the leather has come off at the top and bottom and its starting to look tatty. I've had a look on flea bay and there is a 2 spoke wheel on there but its from an 04 reg cooper s.

It looks virtually the same apart from the thumb rests on either side. I just wondered if this wheel would fit our car and if we could use our air bag in it?

Also is it a big or specialised job as there is air bag work involved?

The wheel is the only thing that spoils the interior of our car as the rest of it is in really good condition to say the car is getting on for 6 years old!

Yes - it's a straight swap and your airbag will fit. There is work involved removing and replacing the airbag, so if you're not happy doing this get someone confident/qualified to do so
