MINI2

I have a BMW MK3 sat nav unit which was on version SW 3-150. Mini Cooper S 2002.

I wanted to upgrade my firmware and used a download from Simply MINI with v26 files (this should take a MK3 to v22).

I popped in the CD, watched the "loading software" screen before my screen went black, and is now permanently black. After some struggle I managed to eject my CD but now I am left in eternal darkness on my screen

Can anyone help me?

Happened to me once, all I did was pop in v25 or another lower firmware then try upgrading again.
Worked for me.

As mentioned via PM, you have to make sure that you burn the CD in mode 1 or this will happen. The unit is not dead but needs the firmware reloaded.
