Hi

i have an 06 Mini convertable. I am trying to locate the 6 CD auto changer cable that was supposed to have been fitted. I have looked on both sides at the rear, opening up the small piece of easily removable trim , but cant find the cable.

Also have removed the radio from the dash, and cant see that the socket where I would expect the cable plugging into is also empty?

Anyone any ideas please

Many of the Cabrios are not fitted with the harness and it will have to be purchased.

Thanks - have checked with dealer who advises that it should have been fitted. Just wanted to know were to look

As I mentioned, you may not find it. The dealer is misinformed. I have even seen 06 hardtops without. If it is not in the boot, then it is not there.

Could always take it down to the dealer mentioned and ask them to show you where it is

If its not plugged in at the head unit then its not fitted
You can buy the cable
Or fit an ipod kit instead

Thanaks for all the responses. i just wnted to check - have had a good look and cant see it, just didn't want to look stupid if I waltzed into dealer and asked them were it was!!

Have loooked at invoice, sefinately speced, soi guess it a mis-build and BMW can pick up the bill
