Just ordered a Carbon JCW Gear Shift Knob and Handbrake Cover. The kit comes with replacement Gaiters for the Gear Stick and Handbrake and are in Alcantara.

So, which is the best option, the leather standard ones or the Alcantara ones?

I've decided to stick with the standard silver/grey down tubes and trim bits. Is there an advantage to switching to the Carbon ones? or is it simply cosmetic.

Cosmetic I would have thought. Ive recently fitted the JCW CF centre trim for the steering wheel - purely cosmetic! Out of interest how much was the gear Knob?

Got them off a guy on Ebay, Gear Knob, Handbrake Cover both in CF. Gear Gaiter and Handbrake Gaiter in Alcantara. All for £100. This includes P&P.
