Just fittet Recaro in my R53 in dark/light grey leather.

I can't find matching rear seats anywhere, any suggestions?
Maybe a color combination from a standard rear seat that could match?

I have the black half leather back seats today, and are thinking about getting them repolstered.

You *can* get the rears in Recaro finish - I have them in my Checkmate, but I'm sure they're not cheap

Might be worth pricing them though before you get your originals retrimmed, they just might be cheaper...

I have also have this problem at the moment i have just ordered a set of standard cloth rears in sparkling silver will let you know what they look like when fitted, as they are almost they same colour, Recaro hold the leather to match the rears and it is only avaliable from them, at a price and the best price for the rears is £1450 from BMW. if you have any news on this please let me know and i will do the same.

Got a bargin off ebay but you can anything from £600 - £1000 or buy them from the stealers at £2000 each.

You can buy a complete NEW set at MINI in Germany for around 860£ for a set.
See: mini . de / de / partner / ah_bauer_flensburg / mini (remove blanks)
Then choose zubehör and then search for sitz.
Are they really 4.000£ in UK for a set? That is stupid!!!
I got them on e-bay.co.uk for 375£ for an almost brand new set.

"Jacked up": 1.450£ for the rear seats are a little too much, but do you have the part no.? I will try in Germany.
