Offline | Interior Door Handles Hi There. The Previous Owner To My Pride And Joy Scratched My Interior Door Handles. I Have Just Tried Using Chrome Vinyl And It Would Look Amazing If There Werent All Bubbles And Creases In It. The Other Two Options That I Can Think Of Are Either Painting It With Some Kind Of Paint Match (apparently One Of The Ford Paints Matches It), Or The Other Plan Is Getting One Of Those Leather Covers From The States. Has Anyone Got Any Suggestions Or Pics Of What They Have Done? Thanks James. |

Offline | i believe that that requires the replacement of the whole door card and i dont really want 2 start getting rattles, and that would probably end up relatively costly |

Offline | For the chrome ones you're looking at around £25 for the pair I think (from the dealer) and the replacement of door cards etc is relatively easy (done it myself), the replacement of the handle doesn't seem too difficult, and there's no reason I can see why it would rattle or anything afterwards. http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?f...chrome_handles ![]() |

Offline | Yep, I don't think they did the interior pull handles separate they are part off the door card, however the handles to actually open the doors are quite cheap. "Doubt they cost much" They (door-cards) used to cost approx £200 each if I remember correctly, now that may not be much to you "Paul" but it could put a dent in my bank balance .However the handles to actually open the doors are quite cheap as I said above .![]() ![]() ![]() Destined to live life £5 behind. Offline | Chrome is a good option, although, it will easily show scratches. I did the carbon and leather route, the leather pulls from Carefully Selected, High-Quality Mini Products : : : Minspeed.net are very well made and a perfect fit. ![]() |

Offline | I changed up the stitching pattern on the door, the right side shows the new pattern, the left side will be done next week. I really like the fit and finish of the leather door pull, adds a bit of texture and interest. ![]() |

Offline | That is a very nice interior you have! Unique, i love it!!! Try a breakers for a complete interior replacement set and go crazy and do what you want with it without worry or messing up original bits. eg paint them, wrap them in something etc. ![]() ![]() |
