Offline | Is it possible to get Air Conditioning installed ? hi guys, Took delivery of my mini today and love it, but it does'nt have air conditioning !Is it possible to upgrade via a MINI garage ? i can see it being expensive, but i see it as an investment. hope anyone knows.... |

Offline | Yes it can be done as a retro-fit, a kit is available but expensive to buy and have fitted. For most it is cheaper and easier to buy a MINI with air con factory fitted. If you are determined it can be done cheaper diy if you are able to tackle difficult and complex car projects and use some used parts. Sheesh, if im looking at 2-3k for it.... thats a bit too much! still have 14 days left to return and get a different mini... is the air conditioning worth getting another car though ? my current example has done 18000 miles (53 plate) interior is mint as is the bodywork in general. does'nt have CD player or onboard computer though.... |

Offline | just in case anyone was wondering, i rang up high wycombe BMW sytner MINI this morning and they gave me a rough quote of £2500 fitted & installed. LOL. looks like i wont be getting Air conditioning aftermarket. |
