I have just purchased a 54 reg mini with Harman Kardon which is arriving next week. Will the Head Unit play mp3's? (I know the 55 plate one does so hoping mine will!)

As far as im aware the Harmon Karodn Head unit is exactly the same as the raido boost head unit (it just has an additional amp). So does anyonne know if 54 reg Head units play mp3 discs?

Yep, H/K head unit is the same as you get with the normal CD boost system.

In my 06 plate car with H/K it plays mp3 cd's no problem.

Enjoy it, the sound is awesome for an OEM set-up!

Your '54' plate car will be a facelift model, so I would have thought so yeh.
