I agree , because I read a whole thread and then comment on stuff I've read that I have a view on or can comment / advise on (some answers require a long technical answers, I take it you mean other treads as-well). The red post numbers are there to point out what my comments are about in response to your post and others, all in one post via the red post numbers , in my original post (post #18) and not the way they have come out in your quote .

Ill make myself a little more clear here...... in most of your posts that i read i feel you are explaining yourself an awful lot more because you think that people like me are stupid and dont have a clue unless you put it in brackets. Thats my honest opinion of the way you post and it actually annoys me

Example in bold.....

They do go like that when the frames are removed though, you'd look a little saggy with your skeleton removed , it also depends on how they've been stored .

(rears)
Thats clearly obvious as they are the only seat in the pics that look saggy.

(pic's aren't clear enough though)
Well thats clearly obvious that the pic isnt clear enough because if it was, then everyone else looking would be able to say that the badge is not there.

(one from one & one from another)
If there mis-matched seats, then clearly they are going to be from different cars.

Im sorry to post this but the only reason im saying this and also why i first said that "they can work it out for them self's" is that it feels IMHO that you are undermining peoples post's and meaning that they dont have a clue and you have to reply in that manner so the thick people on the other end of the computer can understand, and theres nothing technical about this thread.

Once again sorry but thats how i feel, and maybe we should get back on topic and hope dawn and mark gets the seats the want.

Randall.... I dont mean to be nasty its just thats what i feel when i read your posts and i dont like that thought of you thinking me or anyone else is thick and you have to explain to the T.

I'm not going to stop the way I post just because it annoys you, thats just the way i post to try to make it clear / clearer, other people , I may change the way I quote people, not using what they've commented on as an example as was in this case & others..

Example in bold.....

(rears)
Thats clearly obvious as they are the only seat in the pics that look saggy.
It also highlights that I don't mean the front frames / runners which some people use the same term for, it was also a reply to a question asked a couple of times (in your words it's so obvious everyone should be-able to figure it out themselves ), plus on MINIs it's normally the front leathers that are saggy and again not everyone knows what JCW seats are, especially if the pic goes off .

(pic's aren't clear enough though)
Well thats clearly obvious that the pic isnt clear enough because if it was, then everyone else looking would be able to say that the badge is not there.
Not when I was writing this as the link isn't working on my computer and that pic / ad could go off at any time so it wont always be so clear to other / some readers, I also should have put, I often buy from auction websites and blow up pic's zoom in etc checking for damage, photoshop editing etc... etc... but I thought this info would be obvious (it would to people who know me) .

(one from one & one from another)
If there mis-matched seats, then clearly they are going to be from different cars.
They could be from the same car, some one could have replaced one new & either ordered wrong or in some cases suppliers change & you have to have a updated seat with or without matching badge unless you buy a pair .

(you normally didn't notice until you got them side by side , as you where just happy to find a pair all-be-it from different cars or a replacement for a damaged one and they'd initially looked the same ).
Thats also clearly obvious that you may not notice until there side by side.
So you're picking at the comment but next time you'll double check if you get offered two odd seat's, or more importantly someone else will who has read this and took the info as it was intended, as advice (also relevant too MINIs as they have different seat frames on some different year models, although the pattern is the same, different frame, handles etc... etc... . The seller in the eBay ad has also pointed out the seats are a different age in the ad although he states the front from the rears (so he felt the need to point-out something that isn't so obvious to everyone), hence the advice .

Now that technical comment was aimed at / specifically for you as you seem, IMO, to be commenting on other posts that I've done, not just in this thread again if this is so it's not clear to others what you're on about , it was in brackets to make it clear "(some answers require a long technical answers, I take it you mean other treads as-well)" .

Once again sorry but thats how i feel, and maybe we should get back on topic and hope dawn and mark gets the seats the want.
Why be sorry in both above comments, you're entitled to your oppinion.

Glad you think so , I'm sure many wont , so if anyone wants it to stop just say so.
"ScottyBoy" I'll stop after my next post, no hard feelings, but I'm not bothered either way, as long as you feel the need to comment on comment's I've made, I'll respond or untill somone else says enoughs enough, I'll argue day & night, but sooner or later someone will be offended, not too bothered about the thread (a more serious thread and I'd have stopped before now) as it'll be ended tonight hopefully with "Dawn" & "MARK TAYLOR" getting the seats at a reasonable price . Good Luck!!!

I feel the other way I don't like it when people think everyone should understand what's going on (as everything should be so obvious) that when a question, misunderstanding or simply the fact that a reader doesn't like the way someone else posts, doesn't agree with a post / comment, and feels the need to try comment, to try to insult them, have a laugh at someone else's expense, make them feel their comments are not useful comments / post etc... etc...

Any post I make, I don't have any idea who is going to actually read it or not, so I can't and don't make any assumptions on how thick (as you put it) anyone is, I just try to make sure it understandable to everyone reading meaning, as this is an open forum, too anyone, anywhere, there will be many levels of understanding either of MINIs, mechanics, terms, phrases, language, how to use this site etc... etc... depending on many factors ie, language, country of origin, job, sense of humour and many many other factors including what they are actually using the site for ie, networking, business, looking for solutions too MINI problems etc... etc... hence you will get all-sorts of replies from the very serious to just a "", and each will have their own way of doing things, hence, some confusion, seriousness & some fun, all in one thread.

If everyone using the site could just figure stuff out for themselves (with the above comment in mind) there would be no questions asked, or threads asking for answers , as not everything is as obvious to one person as it is to another, the intelligence issue is irrelevant, IMO .

The only assumptions that can be made by anyone is that, everyone has an interest in MINIs of some sort (except the spammers), and even that assumption could be wrong .

With a contribution that's back on track, the eBay ad is also worded wrong as it states the seats will fit the R52, cabriolet, which the front may but the rears wont , obvious to some, but not so obvious to others , unless the seller can supplier the rears for an R52 as-well .
