Which Tracker to get?

I need to get a Tracker for Insurance reasons, ASAP.
Which is a good one?

We do Smartrack & Trackstar
Personally I prefare Smartrack - better service & cheaper
Tracked by GPS so doesn't need to have a police car with tracking equipment close by thats 'available' to track it. Can be transfered to your next car unlike some systems. The system self tests itself.

Can you get a quote without the tracker?
Once you add up the cost of fitting and the yearly subscription, plus the insurance, you might be able to shop around for something similar, price wise!

Also, do you really want your car back, after some toerag has trashed it?

My personal view is Cobra Trak 5

You have to have a small card on you / in the car otherwise the tracker is activated - this works inside 250 metres. The tracking centre are very alert and cover all of Europe. Can can be remotely immobilised with police permission.

There are limited authorised installers for this system and it is fully Thatcham approved. Not cheap but worth it
