just fitted new alcantara to my gearstick looks cool.

but struggling with handbrake, how do i get the handel off, managed to get the leather off, this fit over handle but alcantara wont,

i cant figure it out and its doin my head in

HELP PLEASE

Thanks Chris, Couple of jobs to do on Wifes Cooper and handbrake gaiter replacement is one. This has stopped me scratching my head!!
Lack of forward movement on drivers seat when entering rear is next on my list! Cable has snapped.
