Offline | Yeh they look spot on. I have been thinking of doing this for a while, get sick of the orange glow. I really like that blue colour, they look cool (havent used that word for a while). All the best. |

Offline | That looks cool Ice blue funky dash lighting was the only thing I ever really missed from my Golf so one day I would like to do that on my car too. Was it tricky soldering in all the LED's or did you get somebody else to have a crack at it for you?I personally would be to scared to touch the speedo on my car! I've spent ages getting the dash to stop vibrating by sticking in various bits of foam and slightly reluctant to take it all apart now ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | Hi guys Glad you like it as much as i do! Its quite fiddly soldering in the new LEDs, as they are 3mm long . Ive been soldering since i was quite young - so im quite good at it. Anyone that can solder should be able to attempt it, if not anyone thats near me is welcome to come down and ill do it for you for a small fee .Scottyboy: You have to remove the circuit boards from the car, desolder the old orange leds, and solder in new ones. I plan on doing the rest of the car this week at some point, ill put up more pics soon. However the cd player will need to wait as they are even smaller LEDs, and i have yet to source them. Currently trying to keep my eyes off the new tach, and on the road ![]() Regards Drew Superchargedddddddddd! |
