Kenwood sat nav (KNA-G421) audio problem

hi folks,

this is my first post on here however i have been skulking around the shadows for some time.

i have recently installed a hardwired kenwood sat nav system to my wifes mini cooper s.

i am receiving sat nav audio from the passenger side speaker only. should i expect sound from the drivers side one too?

the head unit is a kenwood KVT-522DVD and the sat nav is KNA-G421.
all leads and connectors were supplied by mikeythemini who has been excellent in his advice on installing the unit.

all audio is working through the stereo and i can balance the speakers from left and right, front and back.

the sat nav system mutes the front speakers when it is to give commands but only audio is heard from the left hand speaker.
ive triple checked all connections and see nothing loose. any advice on where to check next would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

ged

Go into the setup menu, you can select left, right or both
There you go, not bad for a drunk man just in from the pub
