Rain Sensor.

Hi, does anyone know if the wiring for the upcomming rain sensor is already in place or not,if it is then maybe anyone who needs to replace their front screen could have a new screen incorporating the sensor.

Is the rain sensor on the screen or in the rear view mirror?

Hi Dom, Its actually part of the windscreen, but the wiring would obviously be internal presumably somewhere in the clock area.I wondered whether anyone had taken off their clock and found extra wiring that they couldn't account for.

wiring

No.
The wiring is absent at the moment on all mini's.

The sensor box will eventually fit in front of the mirror, attatched to the screen, where the darkened area of glass is on current mini's.
