I have a pair of Hella 500 fog lamps and I'm all set to wire them up (decided to grit my teeth and go with a switch under the stock toggles - I simply haven't the time or patience to work my way through the darn computers) but I'm looking for a better mount than just punching holes in the grille or bumper. Helix (http://www.helix13.com) started to work on a mounting bar but the last I heard they'd dropped the project to concentrate on developing a new ECU chip. Any other sources, anyone?

Why not use the same mounts and wiring harness the dealership uses to install driving lights? According to the new directions, the BC1 doesn't need to be reprogrammed for the driving lights.

My MINI came with driving lights, so I'm just replacing the junk lights with a pair of chrome Cibie 123mm Tango's. 180mm driving lights (like the Hella 500) look a little out of place on the the front of a MINI, IMO.
