| in that some will say they prefer Boost, like some prefer the Cooper. I've wanted HK from the start, but didn't want to wait any longer. It would make me feel a lot better if HK wasn't too awesome. |

| MINI2 Master | Nope, I'm afraid it will be very good. Very clean, very refined, pretty powerful. That said, I've always thought good sound belonged at home. Fun sound belongs in your car. There's enough road noise in a MINI from the engine, exhaust, and wheels, that the premium radio might be a bit silly. No doubt it will be real nice, but for the kind of money it costs over and above the Radio BOOST CD that comes standard in the US/Canada, is it worth it? So, Digital Signal Processing, Digital Amplification, Servo controlled speakers, harmonic time alignment be damned. The H/K costs about $700 more anyways. For $500 you could amp-up, speaker and sub your MINI, and have a lot of fun. Or, that kind of money could get you a flashy HU that plays MP3's. It's up to you. Personally, the BOOST is fine for me, since I rarely have the radio on. ![]() Chilli Red/White Cooper S, Sport Pack & Sunroof. Delivered June 12th, 2002!Now with MCS Winter Tire Package. |

| I don't actually listen to the radio or CDs much. I'm usually in tune with the motoring experience and focusing on the traffic around me. If I'm stopped at a signal, that's when I'll try the radio, and when it turns green I'll turn it down or off. I love my music, however, and I sometimes miss my old car with the boxed speakers, sub and amp. It rocked. But I love my MINI more. |
