Pics of new steering wheel and pedals for 'S'

Hi Folks,
Picked up my new 'S' yesterday and thought you might like to see the new wheel and pedals that she came with, Also I got colour coded side skirts and they came with a new trim.

Thanks for the pics... Daisy looks excellent!

Don't get me wrong, but with all the talk about the "sports" steering wheel, I guess I was expecting a more significant difference from mine. On the other hand, the pedals, are great and I'm going to have to swap my rubber ones out.

... take the long way home...!

Trust not the heart of a man for whom old clothes, and the Mini, are not venerable!

Nice piccies
I also notice that you don't have a shelf underneath the steering wheel. It looks more like a cubby hole...
That's a new addition that hasn't been mentioned before.

MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime

Good observation!! It was mentioned a loooong time ago as a "mystery part" that some people had seen diagrams of. A compromise between US-Style knee bolster and the Euro-style parcel shelf. Any part number for that? Although it seems sort of silly now that we can just get the *real* parcel shelf.

Whatever.

This is not true. Cars are already beginning to show up in the US with the new steering wheel. Here are some pics that were just posted on roadfly:

Received an email from MINI today indicating the metal pedals will be an "accessory kit" to be released for the earlier production cars. No estimate of ETA. So ....?
