Offline | Radio Removal In an 03 car. Hello every body. I have done a couple of searches on removing the head unit and come up with some very comprehensive results which have impressed me a lot, well done mini 2. But the problem is i have an 03 car with the cuby hole, and this leaves the top screw on the right strut hidden, i have had a look at way of moving the trim across the bottom of the steering colum but to no avail. Has any one had some sucess i only want to get at the wires to fit a handsfree kit! Any help would be greatfully accepted Cheers |

| MINI2 Regular | I too was having some trouble removing the cover under the steering column. If that's the one you're talking about, just yank...hard! Grab the opening under the column..then just pull down. The top is held on with two snap things that will come off when you tug on them hard enough and at the bottom, it is on hinges. |

Offline | Cheers Aperez49 that is just the job! didn`t realize it was hinged i was trying to unclip the bottom. as i thought the whole unit would be removable. Thanx also Dom but it was the trim under the steering wheel that was being obstanant. Mini 2 Triumphs again where do i send the sponorship. I had resigned myself to asking the dealer to quote me on fitment. |

| Test thread infiltrator | Once you've removed the silver ring at the bottom of the gear stick... you have to reach around until you're underneath the black panel... it's held in by several clips around the edges... pop then, it may involve a few scratches to the knuckles mind ![]() Dom |
