Hi all!

Tried to search and browse to find this, and I saw a lot of stuff about 3rd party replacements, but I'm wondering: Has anyone been able to replace their 2002 factory installed radio with a 2003 model? I want to swap out my 2002 cassette player with the 2003 CD player as it has RCA pre-outs that would allow the connection of my iPod.

I assume that going from the 2002 to the 2003 model would keep my steering wheel volume/tuner controls intact? That's an important factor for me.

Double check on this but as I recall, even though the 2003 models are supposed to have the RCA inputs, I don't think they actually do. You'll have to get a blitzsafe or other adaptor for said ipod.

the 2003 factory radio rca inputs (not preouts) is a mystery feature. no-one has verified the existence of it and the back of the 2003 radio looks exactly the same as the 2002 radio. I would just wait to see if this accessory ever appears.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the adaptor that finally shows up (if it ever shows up) will be very similiar to the blitzsafe adaptors.
