Has anyone fitted a Pioneer DEH-P5530MP head unit? If so I was wondering how well the red LED's match the Mini's? Any chance of a photo in place?

Additionally, how tricky is it to get a high current (20A) power feed from the battery/fuse box on a Cooper with Climate Control fitted?

Prowse,

I had a Pioneer DEH5530 fitted to my MCS today - only I don't get the car until 1st March. Spent ages deliberating about which head unit and after hours on internet went for the new Pioneer. I think the only other viable alternative is a new Becker (due March) called the Monza which I am told will be cheaper and look same as the Mexico.

I'll post a pic next weekend of the Pioneer if that helps.

Thanks for the help, but upon speaking with my mate that works at BMW, they don't connect to the Alpine 6 disk changer I've got, so it's probably back to an Alpine head unit!
