Mike,
Are these are the right side pillars (for LHD vehicles)? If so, I'd like to get one ordered this week. Thanks!

Cheers,
Chris

If you think that expensive, for some strange reason the anthracite ones are dearer, try this;
USA, Australia etc £79.15
Europe £93
same post rates apply

the goose neck is very stiff, but the top piece which you bolt the phone holder / ipod bracket etc to can be rotated about the stem, So it's easy to adjust the position.

CurtP - I hope you still have the MINI! My car got serviced lately and with latest software, I 'think' the stumble is sorted. Why do you HATE the proclip, by the way? I am about to receive my HP2210 ipaq and was thinking of getting it, so that I don't have to drill or glue anything to anything. And also it won't get in the way of the controls - -proclip no good?

I just installed a ProClip down tube clip and a holder for an iPAQ 3950 with a NAVMAN GPS sleeve. Works great. No rubbing on the glove box door. The rubbing was also a concern of mine. Now, I have mounted it a little further down on the down tube, mainly because I wanted the iPAQ/NAVMAN out of sight as much as possible. I have also attached a re-radiating antenna to aid the with the reception of the GPS signals. The re-rad antenna always has an unobstructed view of the sky. The ProClip system is really working out for me.

Thanks guys. CurtP, by Mikey's, do you mean the down tube replacement? Seems like a lot of work for me. Might be very difficult and expensive to get in switzerland.

Has anyone tried the Akron universal 15" gooseneck mount for mounting on to the passenger seat rail? Does it work for the MINI? I don't want it too low or in the way of things.

Thanks!

CurtP, why not get a new 2004 MINI? I'm sure all those problems are ironed out now....
