Offline | OEM rubber floormats I recently purchased this set of 4 100% rubber floormats from www.bavauto.com here in the U.S. for $50. The sales guy said it is rumored that these are manufactured in Germany by the same company that makes the genuine Mini rubber floor mats. The fit should be perfect, but I can't confirm this since I won't take delivery of my new Mini for a couple more months. The quality of these are really good and at $50, I think they're a good value. There's a raised lip around the perimeter to help retain moisture and debris. I just wish they made a boot mat too. |

Offline | Yeah, I would rather have the real Mini mats with the Mini logo, but I'm feeling a bit broke at the moment after spending all my savings on my MCS so I'm trying to save wherever I can. Can you tell me if the Mini boot mat has a lip around the perimeter to contain spills? I couldn't tell from the pictures on the Mini Website. |

| heterochromic & loving it | Re: OEM rubber floormats The OEM rubber mats are made in the UK, they have a stamp on the back that says who they were designed and manufactured by, although the name escapes me at the moment (I only recall this because I had the mats out to clean them on Saturday). Hopefully before too long, I'll be able to take the rubber mats out and put the "summer" mats (the carpeted ones) back in... -Ricardo |

Offline | A picture would be great. If the authentic MINI boot mat is as nice as the rest of the car, I might just buy one from the dealer when I pick up the car. On an unrelated note, I kept thinking the view of the MCS in your signature looked familiar. I finally figured out it looks like a head-on view of a WHALE SHARK. Maybe my imagination is getting carried away. ![]() |

Offline | Thanks for all the pictures. The pictures on the miniusa site don't do those mats justice. Had I seen your pictures before buying my set, I would have spent the few bucks extra for the real deal. I love the MINI logo. I'll definitely pick up the boot mat at the dealer when I get the car in June. |

Offline | I'll just live with the mats that I bought, besides, I hate the idea of getting my dirty shoes on that shiny MINI logo. Speaking of mats on eBay, check these out. I found these on eBay from a Canadian seller. I wonder if they're made by the same people that made my mats. The circle shapes seem a bit too big for my tastes. |

| MINI2 Master | Those are the official MINI rubber floormats. That's what I have in my car right now (well, mine are full of dirt and salt right now...). Offline | I think those were the official mats, but because of various reasons, (like people's feet getting caught in the holes) they came up with the newer design. So they're now the retro mats. When I got my rubber mats last fall so I wouldn't beat up my carpet ones, the big circles weren't available anymore. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |
