United-States Lighted Shift nob

In my M3 the shift nob was lit up to show a nice red color "M", I was wondering if anyone is working on a similar concept for the MCS. Everyone loved the way it looked on the M3 and I think it would be a great addition to the MCS. A nice lit up "S" in the same color as the interior lights would look great in my opinion.

Yeah tip, any electrical current available in my gear knob would be preferred converted to heat. Brrr.
That's the price for being on the colder side of the arctic circle i guess...
A red hot glowing "S" on the knob would be perfect!

Tore

I think it would look great too. But, mine would have to read MC. Curious to see a pic.

The color is right, but the BMW and MINI knobs are not interchangeable... but we are looking at doing a MINI fitment if there is enough interest.

I like the RK2 style a bit more than the RK3 (I think), but I think a light-up shift pattern is a really smart idea. Looks cool.

Rob,
Could your lighted RK3 be fitted to your MINI short shift kit?

RK3 Group Buy

I have been looking all over for a lit shift knob and the RK3 looks awesome. Is anyone out there interested in a group buy?

Be a good idea if/when they make one to fit the MINI.
