My first night with the car and I got the bug to install my new Kenwood head unit. What do you think?

The install went fairly quick with the harnessess and adapters from Mikeythemini. Not too mention the FAQ section here. Door install next......................

I really wanted to order the Sony Head Unit up-grade with my Mini - or even better get an Alpine unit at a later date but i've now decided on the stock head unit (Single CD + new Sound Modul options) so no one is ever tempted...or at least alot less likely.... to break into my Mini and steal the head unit - like they just did on my 205Gti

If you have a nice 'after-market' Head Unit make sure you ALWAYS take the front panel off your Head Unit - i would hate the scum bags to crow-bar your door open like they did to mine - at 4pm in the middle of the afternoon in a Tesco car Park !!

No where is safe these days!!
