Attn: Anyone who installed anything under their seats...

I've searched and read through every thread involving installing something under either seat to no avail (looked on MINI Cooper Online forum as well).

I need to know the dimensions of the floor cavities under each seat. Can anyone who has this info please post it? From the pictures I've seen, it doesn't look like it's the same on each side. All I found in my search was the dimensions of one of the foam inserts which may or may not be the exact dimensions of the cavity. One cavity (RH side) looked deeper while the LH side cavity looks like the depth varies.

Can anyone help?

Under the seats is the first place that U.S and Canada Customs looks.

Good luck,

hi,

it might be you saw different sizes because the seats are height adjustable.

if i have time today, i'll measure them for you (i'll put the seat at its lowest?)

PM me to remind me if i forget

No, I'm afraid you don't understand. The cavities I'm referring to are IN the vehicle floor, UNDER the carpet. It doesn't matter how high the seats are adjusted.

I appreciate you trying to help, though!

I'd be careful about working under the seats. Therre's lots of important wiring under there.
