RCA cable input

I'm wondering if there's an RCA input for my stock mini cd player? I want to put an amplifier on to boost up the sound. I still didn't open the dash so I want to ask you if there is......If not do I have to buy another cd-player? Want to keep the original player?

OUTPUT??
No it doesn't, but all is not lost.
You can add an amplifier that has high level inputs.
Or fit a voltage divider - kenwood KVD840 which gives 2 pairs of rca pre outs.

Mike - how good would that work off the WAVE unit?
So that could mean

WAVE->voltage divider->amp->sub?

There was a guy in here wired the high level inputs of an infinty basslink to his WAVE unit and fried the H/U! any risk of this happening?

oh and if the above is possible, how much would a voltage divider set you back?

Cheers

I suck at electrical stuff but here some info I've been storing in my head:

The stock headunit is balanced line, which is slightly different than the standard method of powering speakers. Instead of a + and a ground, you have a + and -, sometimes you'll see alternate methods for wiring things with this sort of system in your amp installation manuals. I've read it before in my a/d/s/ manual. You can probably download one from their website for a way better explanation than I can give.... or wait til Snoopy sees this thread and explains it better
