Offline | Have you already bought your sony cd changer? I got my sony cd changer from BMW, it comes with a fixing cage, that sits clear of the boot carpet and tilts down for you to put cds in, it takes up very little room. I managed to do a deal with my local BMW parts department for it, so only paid slightly more, but it looks so much better. But you can't buy it separately, it comes all together in a kit, it just doesn't say this in the catalogue (which I found out after I'd bought a cd changer from elsewhere and had to take it back for a refund?!!) |

Offline | I have located mine on the pollen filer caseing under the passenger side of the dash. The changer is screwed to the lid using a home made bracket. In this location it is safe from damage and safe from theives. The other bonus is that is it is in the passenger cabin you can change the discs without leaving the car. If I can work out how to attach pictures I wil return later regards Andy |
