Anyone managed to bypass the seat airbags?

I know that there is alot of discussion regarding bypassing the complete airbag system when putting in new front seats. But, has anybody managed to bypass just the seat airbags?

Surely, a termination plug in the yellow connector would suffice?

Thanks
