| MINI2 Regular | I tried one of the arm-rests with the storage compartment. Item NMI 4011 from Mini Spares. I have a Cooper with Sports seats. The arm-rest caught on the lumbar support adjustment knob. So three problems, 1/ I couldn't adjust the lumbar support without moving the seats all the way forward or back. 2/ If I did move the seats it damaged the arm-rest. 3/ The fixing bracket took up space in the rear cup holder. The small arm-rest that has no storage and fits with six mounting screws fitted perfectly. Item NMI 4012 from Mini Spares. There are photographs on the Mini Spares web site http://new.minispares.com I hope this helps Black Jack |

Offline | Rat, I have the armrest w/ the storage that I got from MossMini. I really like it. It does block the seat adjustment somewhat, but the extra storage is really nice. It has an adjustable top that I slide forward when I am driving. I rest my elbow on it and shift from there. On a long trip it has proven to be a very nice thing to have. David |

Offline | Armrest Solution The MINI dealer admitted to me that the available armrests are cheesy, and I found my own solution. I bought a Spill Master universal expanding beverage holder, and screwed it over the cup holes in the existing plastic divider between the front seats. Then, I bought a black buckwheat-filled velour travel neck pillow, and it fits over the beverage holder and you can't even tell it's there! I like the fact that when I need a 7-11 Slurpee or a Wendy's Frostie, I can throw the travel pillow in the back seat and stow my large beverage in the holder. Good luck! |

Offline | I got the www.leatherz.com armrest and it's leather to match the leatherette seats but made of real leather. The bracket is aluminum to match the rest of the interior. It bolts on with 3 screws and leaves the cupholder usable. I really like it and will get some pictures taken and write a review this week. |

Offline | Lapis Blue Armrest, Shift & Brake Boot I've been emailing Andy Maddux at LeatherZ http://www.leatherz.com, and he said if I got 4-5 people lined up, he would make his MINI armrest in Lapis Blue. The Armrest is $105 and is his Mark3 model. He also said for those interested, he would also make Lapis Blue Shift & Brake boots - I believe they would be $60 each. If anyone is interested, let me know, and as soon as I get at least 4 other people, I'll let him know to get started on the order. Motor On!
