Offline | This may be a re-hash but perhaps there is new info out there. I understand that my car's speed can adjust the speed of wipers on intermittant(sp?) and the volume of my non-HK audio unit. Now, with the help of my ability to count "one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand", I have noticed a slight increase in wiper speed as I increase my car speed. However, even with the control set on 6, I can't hear an increase in my Janis Joplin CD no matter how fast I go. Any new thoughts out there or is this a minor glitch I can live quite comfortably with? Thanks! but with black top Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear. |

Offline | I think I'll play withit again. Change the CD to Buckwheat Zydeco, set it a 0, drive a bit, set it at 6, and see, rather hear what happens. Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear. |

Offline | It should work. It's easy to do but difficult to explain the process. Get that manual out! Of course, it could be that your MINI doesn't like your taste in music ![]() Missing my buddies Dan and Ed but glad I have two angel buddies , And on a quest to Right Secco's Wrongs |

Offline | Having followed my colleague, CCMINI, and his advice before, I jumped right back to my manual which IMHO,is poorly designed and written. If you RESET this function, it chooses a mid-level of the 0-6 range (3, if I recall correctly). I drove at 0, stopped, changed the setting to 6 and I think I heard a slight change but nothing as drastic as eugeneloke. This is not a big deal but I will put it on my short list to ask my terrific service guys at Peabody (MA) MINI (no charge for the plug). Thanks Eugene for the note and bah humbug to you, Steve. Offline | Wipers ARE easier although I would have preferred to set my own speed. Wonder whatever happened to the moisture-controlled wipers that was originally offered, then I heard brought back? I haven't read anything about their return. Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear. |
