According to the manual the map reading lights (as supplied in the chilli pack) swivel back and to, but mine seem to be fixed?

Or am I missing something?

Mine don't move either, the picture in the manual is also a tad different to what's stuck to the roof... the lights in there seem to have extra grey bits

Mines the same - no swivel - but i dont mind (much) coz im enjoying the rest of the car so much now!
