Offline | Handbrake Gaitor Hello I have just bought a Chrome and Leather handbrake grip for my Cooper, very nice indeed, but I am having real trouble removing the gaitor from the original grip. I have followed instructions from previous threads but I am having real trouble in removing the gaitor. Does anybody have any tips or tricks? Offline | Handbrake gaitor Hello CurtP The problem I am having is removing the original handbrake grip from out of the leather gaitor. Apparently you should be able to just lift it over the rear plastic section, but no joy for me. The handbrake grip is from minimania. Offline | Hello Mate The problem is I cannot locate the ziptie that holds the gaitor to unclip it. I can feel it but it seems to be inside the leathor gaitor itself. How did you pull everything off? Offline | Well I was guessing that CurtP sent Darren some private messages to help him out, but Darren replied to him in this thread instead of sending private messages back. Just a guess, and I could certainly be wrong! |
