Offline | Looks GREAT Darxar. Send me your old one. Please? LY/B MCS Alice (Cooper) is almost as much fun as I had hoped. Would my fuel economy improve if I didn't have so much fun? |

Offline | If you don't do the seams, the weave of the scoop (the bias) gets all uneven and wavy. Here is a hi-res picture of an early reject silver scoop in one-piece without the seams. Look at the top bar, and the sides leading up to it... definately not as straight in one-cut. We try and line the weave up so that the seam is less apparent, and on the dark ones it is much less noticable. Silver scoop with no seams |

Offline | No I did not have any doubts, I just asked what everyone else was thinking, I know different people will have different tastes, thats what makes life interesting. I posted a similar thread on MCO, most are positive, and a few are not, thats OK, I respect everyones advise, I just wanted to makes sure that 90% of the comments were not really bad, just wanted to reasure myself that my taste was not way off. I think that its different and I like the look, I wanted some way of bringing out the scoop, with a black on black, it was hard to see the scoop, on other colors you see the shadow inside the scoop which brings attention to it, with my mcs its not as noticeable. Now my Black/Black MCS is different, but the same. Thanks for your comments I really do appreciate them, and getting peeved is something that people chose to do, I chose to take your advice as constructive and honest and I thank you for that. Dan has been very helpful and the quality of the product is WOW! I think as I play with the scoop some it will seat better as I become better at adjusting it, now its about where I want it so I am going to leave it for a while. I looked at getting mine chromed, but the cost was too high, and the damage on such a large part, the CF is very durable and I plan on it lasting a long time. I feel confident that if I have any issues Dan and BFP will put customer service #1, they live and die by these websites and their Reputation. Thanks again everyone for the comments. feel free to keep letting me know what you think. DMonk |
