auto climate control

i was cleaning my car today and noticed something. if you have the auto climate control, the bottons are layed out like the MINI symbol. how have i not noticed this before? am i just slow/dim? if your answer was yes, please don't reply. i hope someone else has seen this.

Has been mentioned before, but it' worth mentioning again because it is one of the best design features
