I am glad to here that you guys are pleased with the performance. Are you guys using an amp or powering off of the stock HU? How is the bass is it substantialy more than from the stock speakers.

I am powering off of the stock Boost HU. There is way, way more bass with these speakers than with the standard speakers. No comparison at all in my mind.

You won't be disappointed.

They will fit fine. I got a Balupunkt Woodstock powering mine, no amps, doesn't need it. Suggest you fit some accoustic matting to the panel behind the speaker though....

Yeah, kappas are great, but i have an external Alipne amp running them, if you have a sub then the best thing you can do is alter the rears to produce less of the higher end notes, crossover at about 250hz, they will sound a bit muddy from the back, but they will crank out the bass notes and fill in what the sub misses. it is better if you also have some kappa components in the front, and make sure those tweeters are treated carefully, they tend to blow easily!!!

Focus > Mini One > Mini Cooper > Mini Cooper > BMW 316 > BMW 318 > MINI ONE > BMW 120i > MINI ONE PEPPER! - IM BACK!!
