United-States Wiring Harness, Antenna Adapter, Face Plate for aftermarket HU

I just replaced my MCS factory deck with the Nakamichi CD400 (on sale for $299 from Frys), and had quite a bit of fun locating the right wiring harness & antenna adapter for the install. The ones listed on SoundDomain.com as compatible to the MCS back in July 2003 (which I'd bought) were actually incompatible. So I had to call around local shops to find the right ones. Now that it's all said and done (the new deck sounds great btw), I thought I'd post the part numbers for the MCS-compatible wiring harness, antenna adapter, and face plate. None of the DIY guides listed any, so here goes.

Wiring harness: Scosche VW03B (flat pins, not round)
Metra also makes a wiring harness for the MCS (part no. Metra 70-9003), but do not get it. I did and it's a piece of crap: pins were loose and the wires fall out.
Antenna Adapter: Sccosche VWA3B
Face Plate: Scosche BW2370

Just google the part numbers to find an online store that sells them, or call a local shop and ask if they have the parts.

One problem of note: The Scosche wiring harness was not a snug fit for my MINI's internal wiring harness. It fits, but the connections were slightly loose, so some pins would lose contact if I wiggled the thing. I ended up tie-wrapping the two harnesses together real tight to prevent loss of contact.

Anyway, that was my experience. Hope it'll be useful to some of you.
