Offline | Nokia Phone install with HK Just wanted to say thanks to mikeythemini for being such a great vendor. Mike I have to admit that I was a bit skeptial about ordering a kit from the UK, but you Mikeythemini {Fromby Electronics} came thru when the doit your self wiring kit did not work, by immediatly rushing a new plug and play wiring kit, the instruction worked just great and the areial connection to the NAV anthena works just great. Yes I agree having full volume control from the MFSW is much better option than seeing PHONE display on the radio panel. I would recommed this configuration to any in the US with HK. Thanks once more ![]() Last edited by dkstone : Feb 5th, 2004 at 02:28 AM. Reason: correct spelling |

Offline | DK: I had the same thing! Just had my kit installed by Mikey on Tuesday, and on my H/K it doesn't say "phone", but I can control the volume with the MFSW (which I must admit I did assume it would do anyway, but apparently not!) which is great. Can this guy do any wrong?? ![]() |

Offline | He also doesn't allow people in the workshop, so I was left sitting outside Tescos for an hour and a half (although it was 30 mins quicker than he said so no complaints there!!) talking to an old guy with a dog. I wouldn't have minded, but I'm from Leeds, and talking to *shudder* strangers is a new phenomenon for me!! |

Offline | Not letting people in the workshop isnt a personal thing - the insurance company wont allow it for health and safety rules, the same ones who made us rewire the roof top sign in case a burglar climbed on the roof and chopped the wires thinking they were for the alarm and hurt himself ![]() The Tesco coffee shop is nice & warm though - & the girls friendly ![]() |

Offline | I know, I work in a music store myself so know what it's like - they're currently trying to sue one of our other branches because a burglar fell through the roof and hurt himself! What's this country coming to? ![]() Love the handsfree mikey mike, but can you tell me about this plug-in thing for the volume? What exactly is it's function, and where do I plug it in? Regards, Mark |
