Offline | I just spoted an email sent to me from coolnewmini, which contained an advert for the following: ![]() Two gauges of your choice (supercharger boost, oil temp or water temp) that fit into pods where the air vents are either side of the speedo/sat nav is! In my opinion, a brilliant idea! I think it will be fairly cool to see the boost pressure, but also for the water temp when the sat nav is installed, as there is only a warning light!! What does everyone else think? Kaz ( ) K A Z M I R E |

Offline | Mine blows out pretty good with very little/none going to the footwell. Oddly it does blow some towards the winshield but not much. The windows will still fog up. Maybe you have a damper that doesn't close all the way ot maybe that's just a "feature" of Auto AC. Sorry but I'd have to keep the vents. Also at that distance and angle the rightmost or leftmost gauge would be almost unreadable. It needs to be angled at least 15º ( at a guess) toward your line of sight. Of course then for visual consistency you would need to angle the other as well ![]() |

Offline | My vents didn't blow much air either, so I took the top dash panel off and stuffed that top center vent with foam. The vent is useless to me. My dash vents now blow really well! The top center vent is the beginning of where the fan is, so most of the air comes out of there first before being diverted to the other vents. Try it! MCS, DS/B, All Options and JCW! |
