Offline | Pictures of new style instruments in Autocar There is a good picture of the new style instruments in this weeks Autocar. Does this mean that all new MINIs will have the twin pod (speedo & rev counter) in front of the steering wheel, as the clock, water and fuel gauge are all seemingly housed in the centre dial? ![]() Rainbow Dreamer 2005 Cooper S Convertible |

Offline | Just can't take to the drop top. It just doesn't look right, I think that the mini is too small for a rag top. Maybe a removable hard top ? Even then it would look odd. Sorry if youv'e ordered just my humble opinion ![]() CHILLI RED, CHILLI PACK, MAGNEX & PIPERCROSS BAGS OF FUN gone now but not forgotten, an s next time ? |

Offline | Have to say i don't like the Soft top but do like: The New Front Bumper The New Rear Bumper The Colour Coding, wasn't sure it'd work The Chronograph option. I so wanted the tach and speedo on the steering column but didn't want sat nav (or the price of it) hopefully this will produce a cheap way of getting it. The new headlights, always thought the headlights on the present car as being old fashioned design (i.e. on the dipped beam section being covered with glass you can't see through). Most cars these days have clear glass you can see the lens through. The Rear lights, but not the fog. Dunno why but looks wrong (hate it on the Pug 206 to!) Red seats without the red doors (As in the whole door not the "trim" which is body colour coded in this case). Undecided on the wheels, I wanted a 5 spoke 17" wheel more like the 18" JCW's and the original 16" wheels. Would of definitly gone for them. And these are Converitble only anyway.... (but the X lites are supposed to be S only )![]() |
