Offline | can someone give me some advice on this. im finding that im running out of power slots on the ciggie lighter power method. im currently running a splitter with 2 slots. I have my radar detector plugged in one slot and my phone charger plugged in the other. what i would like to do is hard wire the radar detector and the my garmin GPS into the switchable power. Then use the ciggie lighter power for things that require power on a temporary basis. is there an easy method of splicing these cables into the power i.e. thru the radio HU? Does anyone do a kit that simply plugs in so i dont have to starting hacking cables etc? Or is there an easier method? also some indication of difficulty would ideal. thanks |
