Black Cooper Cd Changer For Wave

What type of CD changer can be attached to a factory fitted wave cassette wireless?

The genuine Mini one
or using an interface Sony, or Kenwood or Sony MP3 changer
All the above presume you have the cd prep
Or change the stereo for a huge improvement in sound

This is my second Cooper and my dealer yet again forgot to remind me about cd prep!

I already have the Alpine cd changer. Hence my original question but all quidance gratefully accepted.

I think you're suggesting that a head upgrade from the Mini Wave would be beneficial.

A head upgrade would give a much better sound but if not all is not lost. Have you got the long bus lead for your Alpine? If so I can supply a short CD prep lead & interface what model is your Alpine

My thanks for your advice.
I'm not sure I want to start stripping out the cabling from my old car.
Your suggestion of a new head unit is very sensible.
