Question Homelink install?

I have seen numerous posts regarding this topic, but there seem to be more questions than answers... Has anyone successfully installed a Homelink-enabled rearview mirror in their Mini? what is entailed in installing it? Is there any pre-wiring in the car to make it easier to install one? There is a company that makes aftermarket Homelink mirrors that (allegedly) work for all the cars for which there's no mfr-option model available (www.mitocorp.com/homelink_mirrors.htm)

Any thoughts/ideas/details are appreciated!
