Offline | Hi Guys and Girls I have a March 03 Cooper and wondered if you can retro fit the sat nav that BMW do (i.e. move speedo next to rev counter one) Russell |

Offline | We had this topic on the German Site www.mini2ig.de. Retrofitting Satnav costs about 4500,-€ (don´t know how much this is in pounds- but it´s a lot) So if i were you i would by the Pioneer AVIC X-1 or something like it. |

Offline | It'll probably be cheaper then to sell your MINI and order one with Nav. ![]() There is just one moon and one golden sun; And a smile mean friendship to ev'ryone; Through the mountains divide, and the oceans are wide; It's a small world after all. |

Offline | Alpine INA 033R, better HU, DVD MAPS. See www.mcs-direct.co.uk for best prices! I have the older model (no TMC, like MINI SAT-NAV) superb sound, works faultlessly from UK to Europe (unlike MINI SAT-NAV), sounds better than Factory, costs less (save yourself having boost) costs half as much as Factory + HK! MP3 CD changer available for not much more (way less than MINI's option) works with MFSW (See mikey!) ALL GOOD!! |

Offline | hmm it would be doable. perhaps find a scrapped mini and rip all the parts you can. it would be hard tho. depends if your willing to get your hands dirty (and your mini in bits) ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | Well, as far as i can see i need the following: Audio Wiring lomb (this may come in seperate parts for the NAV and AudioSystem) Navigation computer mounting brackets and protection cover (can anyone confirm weather or not this is under the drivers seat on Non-NAV models? GPS Antenna (should be interesting to fit) LCD silver surround I'm also trying to lay my hands on the Television module. I also have no idea what sort of complications i will run into when moving speedometer from the centre of the dash, to above the steering wheel. I can see my self sitting on the drive for long periods of time taking everything out of my brand spanking new cooper in september. |
