Offline | Hi There, I am interested in adding a wood dash to my Indi Cooper. Does anyone know if the OEM wood dash option can be added to an already built car?Alos, I have searched the net for wood dash kits. Some do not cover the passenger airbag (what is the point of a wood dash if 1/3 of the dash is still silver/grey?) Others have unsightly parting lines through the airbag section. Does anyone have any suggestions on a decent aftermarket kit? Thanks!!! Fred |

Offline | Fred, We've (ok I've) been looking at the samething for "Mrs Peal". My dealer advised the can order the parts and have service install them. Cost was around $750 plus laber & tax etc. Course after you do that you need to have all the "New" crome trim bits installed... ![]() |

Offline | WE added the genuine wood parts from MINI...cost was about $750 Canadian for all 5 pieces...plus tax, plus install...about 2 hours labour. All the aftermarket ones we could find were just stick on stuff...and looked like it. Anybody want an unused " brushed steel dash"...I'll ship for free? |
