okay if you have no idea what I'm talking about (and I wouldn't have 10 mins ago) go HERE

This is a stealth display for the Valentine One radar detector, it shows the display in the BMW onboard computer, and the Sat. Nav screen (they have 2 video's which show it in action). Pretty cool idea.

Well I emailed them asking if it will work with either the MINI onboard computer or the Sat. Nav. Or if they have any plans on doing this in the future.

Will post the reply I get as soon as I get it.
I know I'm keeping my fingers crossed, as this thing would be really cool, especially if you live in Virginia or D.C. (where detectors are illegal)

p.s. dont break the law in Va or D.C.

Within almost 10 mins I got a reply, here is the entire message:

I think the radio might be stretching it because of location (remember the "chirps" still work if desired). But having the heads up display on the Sat. Nav. would be nice...

AWESOME! I e-mailed them a while ago and got a response that they wanted to do the MINI, but didn't know if/when they would. I'm going to e-mail them again

Wow, that is really sweet. I so want one. But not for over $600 for that and a V1. Yikes. And that doesn't even include active lidar jamming.

Maybe someone can extend this concept and make a general-use doohickey that can display whatever status you want on your display. Think guages, voltage, audio controls, etc.

I also heard that they plan on activating the useless middle button on the steering wheel to mute the V1.
