Offline | the one MINI feature never discussed first off thank you very much for info. i will let you know my thoughts about MINI after i finally see it for myself which promises to be the highlight of my trip. as for that one element never mentionned on this site, let me be the first to ask about this really important feature: the ashtray. being from the smoking section of canada, it\'s as essential a feature as is the lighter. do they look smart, are they stragetically located and do we have options? à bientôt! -cough cough- minigal ;) |

Offline | the one MINI feature never discussed Hello there another cougher, the first thing that I looked for in the pictures is the ashtray and I think that it is in front of the gear stick in what looks like a removable ashtray in one of the cup holders. Hope this helps:D |

Offline | the one MINI feature never discussed The lighter also has a ring around the base which is lit up in red. Very nice indeed. (In the new Car and Driver or Road and Track, I can\'t remember) there is a picture of the interior with the interior lights on. It is a very sharp picture and looks really nice. J Its nice to see a fellow canadian on this board for once! haha |

Offline | the one MINI feature never discussed For us non-smokers, its worth noting that the MINI brochure lists a non-smoker option, that replace the ash-tray with another cup-holder, and replaces the lighter with a 12v socket. |

| MINI2 Master BLASTER!!!!! | Re: the one MINI feature never discussed A 12V socket? Cool. The astray is removable.....you take it out and you have a cup holder, the astray is built to fit in there nicely.....I'm a non-smoker, but the ashtray is a coll makeshift container.....ie putiing loose coins, or keys in there. Personally, I'd rather keep the smokers option, cos the the cig lighter come in handy.....eg in car shargers use the socket. Handy as there are many items on the market that use the lighter socket. |
