Offline | My sound system in ly mini Hi!I'm attaching pictures in pdf 'cause i'm not experienced in managing pictures fr showing them directly in the msg 2 attachements belong to audiocontrol dqxs equalizer/crossover which is fed by a kenwood kvt-17 dvd player, equalizer signal goes to 2 jl audio amplifiers, 450/4 to mb quarts (2x6" midwoofers, 1x4" midrange & 1.5" tweeter mounted in jehnert soundpanels each door + 2/6"x9" jl audio in the factory place in the rear) & 300/1 (jl audio custom stealthbox fr mini with 10" subwoofer). I also connected 1 absolute 1.5 farad cap fr the 300/1. rca's, power & ground cable by kicker, kenwood 6 cd's changer & 30 gb ipod connected to aux with monster cable. i think i sounds awesome. Offline | Ok so here's mine... It's a Pioneer DEH-P7850BT Bluetooth enabled so I can connect my phone to it and if anyone calls it will come thru my stereo system... pretty nifty machine! I got it around January this year and have been lovin' it... I just got the head unit and didn't worry about gettin' extra speakers or anything as I reckon the sound that it pumps out of my standard factory speakers is awesome! ![]() ![]() ![]() Hope you enjoy but the pics don't really do it justice... ![]() Last edited by MINIAC : Feb 28th, 2007 at 06:41 PM. Offline | Hi 85NIXMIN Very nice, looks a lot like my Pioneer setup, only a newer model Have you considered the iPod adapter? Saves carrying all those old fashioned CDs around! ![]() |

Offline | This is my new JVC KD-AVX33. The screen is only 3.5 inches but it's not that bad even watching a movie on it. I also love every single feature on the unit. The Bluetooth works flawlessly with my Sony Ericsson w800i, it connects right away when I switch on the unit and the entire phonebook, message box (inbox/sent/unread.....) are sync. to the head unit in less than 10 seconds automatically. There is also a USB input so I can plug-in my 2gb thumb-drive for all the music and audio book files and it also support ID3 tags and folder structure in the usb flash-drive. There is actually another version JVC KD-ADV38 that is identical to AVX33 but it comes with amber back light that matches the MINI backlight. However JVC has it labeled as ARSENAL Multimedia. As a ManU fan, there is NO freaking way I'll put anything that has a label of ARSENAL in my car So I have to live with the blue backlight until I find a solution (if there's any??).Cheers Stephen Last edited by MINIAC : Jun 26th, 2007 at 08:03 PM. Offline | Can I ask if you got your CDA/9812RR headunit working with the multi functional steering wheel? I've just brought a late R50 cooper and looking to install the alpine headunit Cheers |
