Air con manual/auto

HAs anyone got any idea if the air con can be changed? i have the manual air con and would LOVE the auto air con.If i bought the automatic panel and swapped them over do you reckon it'd work in my mini?
Any ideas would be good

You need to do a lot more than just change panel! Costs would not justify the work - probably better to wait till you can trade up to a newer MINI.
